Margarita is a highly respected journalist in both Europe & Canada. Originally from Spain, she has an extensive background in all forms of journalism producing socially conscious reportage for print, radio and television since the early 80s.

Margarita is also a well-known voice on North American television having reported for CBC, BCTV, CFMTV, THE FOOD NETWORK, Spain’ TVE & Mexico’s TELEVISA. As a key member of the production staff at the Canadian CFMTV Network, she hosted a daily news program from Ontario becoming a recognized authority on Central & South American political issues.

As an independent producer some of her productions have been: GAIA’S DREAM, THE ALASKA STORYTELLING THEATRE SHOW, POWER MAPPING, a documentary series about emerging China with BCTV and other productions for CBC’s Global Village & The Food Network. Presently producing documentaries and  documentary series.
